Young and the Restless Spoilers: Michael Mealor Teases That Things Are Going To Get “Nasty” Between Kyle, Claire, & Summer

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that it seemed as if things were settling down between Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) when the stepmom “okay’d” the idea of her new cousin become Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) nanny.

Sadly, the tension was eased for maybe a moment. Now, actor Michael Mealor warns things are going to get nasty where Kyle, Summer, and Claire are concerned.

Y&R Spoilers: Michael Mealor Hints At The Worst

During a red-carpet interview with Michael Fairman TV at the Daytime Emmys, Mealor was asked about what’s on the horizon for Summer, Claire, and Kyle. His response was, “It’s gonna get nasty…No one trusts anyone, which makes for good TV.”

The actor also talked about the trust issues that Kyle has created with those in his life. He notes that Claire could be the only person who trusts Abbott at this point, and teases that maybe she shouldn’t.

Claire’s been sugary sweet since her stint at the facility. She was pretty diabolical when she lured Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and the rest of the Newmans to the lake house and caused major chaos in their lives.

Alas, when the truth came out that she was Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) long-lost daughter – one they didn’t know about – she began to feel the love from her parents. Therapy has helped, too.

Still, many fans are concerned that Summer could push her new cousin to her limits. Could a darker version of Claire emerge? If Summer continues to lash out at Claire, Ms. Grace may simply start to push back.

Then again, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hinting that Kyle could be recruited by Newman Enterprises, and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) working to takeover Glissade (and having the Moustache as a “secret investor) could Abbott find himself working with Charles at some point soon? Could they rehash their “romance”?

This may leave Claire utterly devastated and Summer at her wits’ end!
