According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy on the hit CBS soap, says that he thinks that Lily will join him at Chancellor-Winters despite the current reservations.

The actor puts it this way to the publication, “I think the interesting thing about Lily and Billy is that both still care about each other. They kind of separated their relationship in somewhat of an amicable way and they’re pretty respectful of each other.”

He continued, “Nobody really did anything wrong and they’ve gone on to have other relationships since, so I think there’s an undercurrent of respect there.”

“But I think Lily is a little wary of Billy and she’s right to kind of question where his motives are coming from.”

However, given the situation with Jill’s health right now, Jason says, that Lily feels a little stuck in the middle between Billy and Devon.

He explained, “So, I think that she is intrigued by the possibility of them working together because I think that’s one thing they definitely agree on: that they did good things when they were working together.”

Now, whether or not this is going to work in the end remains to be seen, but Billy is optimistic that he and Lily will be able to turn a new leaf together.

Or at least, that’ what his hope is right now. It’ll be interesting to see what Lily’s reaction is going to be.
