Billy promised to keep his mom’s illness a secret; however, if Lily calls him out on his “secrecy” and implies he’s being manipulative, could he confide in his ex?

Y&R spoilers hint that Billy will put on a brave face and conduct a “business as usual” attitude, but he’s likely to be quite worried about his mom and hide it.

Added teasers for the week of June 3-7 note that Lily will reach a breaking point with Billy, so it sounds like a major face-off between these two exes is on the horizon.

If things escalate, and Lily starts hurling accusations, could Billy crumble? He may even simply blurt out that his mother is sick, in the middle of an argument, explaining the real reason she put him in charge.

Billy has become quite an emotional guy as of late, so if he were to spill the beans, a few tears would come along with it. Lily would obviously see the hurt in his eyes and realize it was awful of her to come to such a terrible conclusion.

Y&R Spoilers: A Secret That Bonds Them

Lily will keep Jill’s illness to herself, and she may even tell Devon and Nate to back off on any “plans” against Chancellor-Winters for the interim. She’ll make a reason up, and whether they take a step back or push harder (keeping her out of the loop), will remain to be seen.

It’s hard to say if Billy will mention Jill’s sickness to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), as she has her hands full with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) right now. If Lily is the only one who knows, she may become the only one he leans on about this.

The secret will bond them, but could it also spark a romantic reunion?
