The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease the show may have hinted about a returning character who hasn’t been seen in years. Could we see an appearance of Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) brother, Dr. William “Snapper” Foster (formerly David Hasselhoff)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Who Was The Foster Family?

Prior to the dominance of the Newmans and the Abbotts, the Fosters and Brookses were the ones who held sway in Genoa City. The union of Christen “Chris” Brooks (Trish Stewart)  and Dr. William “Snapper” Foster brought together these two founding families.

Their daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Foster, would be in her early 40s today if she aged normally.

Adding a character in her 40s would be a refreshing change for Genoa City, especially if she isn’t a Newman or an Abbott or a Chancellor.

Fans may recall the revelation that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) was the illegitimate grandson of Stuart Brooks (Robert Colbert) and Dina Abbott (Marla Adams), making Chris his aunt.

Y & R Spoilers: If Snapper And Chris Return With Jill, How About Jennifer And Family?

Since Chris is a Brooks, her sisters Lorie Brooks (Jaime Lyn Bauer) and Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde) could return as well, and maybe even Theo.

Jill finally revealed to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) why she had given him a higher position earlier in the week. She had been experiencing health issues and was in London receiving treatment from her brother, Snapper.

Could this be a hint that more original family members may be on their way back, from the Foster and Brooks families, possibly including Jennifer?

Her sole male family members would be Billy and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) but she’d be free to date anyone else.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: The Younger Generation

If Jennifer is indeed in her early 40s, it is quite possible that she has teenage children. Let’s imagine she and Snapper have a son named Stuart, in honor of Chris’ father, and a daughter named Lizzie, in honor of Snapper’s mother.

Genoa City is in dire need of a teenage group that is not all related to each other-Billy’s son Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) also needs to return.

Let’s bring back Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), Moses Winters, (Jacob Aaron Gaines) Mattie and Charlie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson, Noah Alexander Gerry) and Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Lebeau).

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is set to return this week, now add Stuart and Lizzie to the mix, and we now have a complete teenage group!
