Speaking to Deadline in a new interview, Kimberlin admits that she had no idea that The Bold and the Beautiful Executive Producer Brad Bell would be bringing her back on the show so soon after Sheila’s supposed death.

She put it this way, “He was very vague. He was like, ‘okay, I’m working on something. I don’t know what it is.’ And I said, okay. Talk about a roller coaster. The only thing I can think of is maybe it’s because of my fans, maybe everyone who was commenting, who made everything go viral.”

Back in 2022, Kimberlin Brown, who is best known for her role as Sheila Carter on both The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, said that soap contracts are usually written so writers are given an option on what to do with certain characters and their storylines. 

That’s why contracts are renewed every three to six months. She even told Soaps.com in an interview, “But our contracts are written so that the show has an option on us — I believe — every three to six months.”
