It appears that Mayor Laura is confronting Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) in her office, questioning the source of the leaked information to the press.
Laura is visibly upset about the leaked information, but it remains unclear which specific situation in Port Charles she is referring to.
There are multiple ongoing investigations, such as Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) innocence in her crimes due to cobalt poisoning, and the scrutiny surrounding Pikeman Security Group.
It is possible that someone witnessed Jordan on a casual date with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and disclosed it to the Invader’s gossip column. Such an incident could potentially tarnish the mayor’s reputation and that of her staff in the eyes of the public!
At the hospital, Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) have a fresh mission to undertake together as Curtis converses with Portia during her shift.
He believes there’s more to the story – could it be the same one Laura is inquiring about with Jordan? Portia is furious about the notion of Heather’s illness possibly excusing some of her recent misdeeds, especially since they had a direct impact on her family.
Curtis and Portia are clearly dedicated to uncovering the entire truth behind the situation!
At GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) offers reassurance to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who appears visibly distressed. Elizabeth and Chase’s brother, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), had seemingly resolved their issues following his struggle with sobriety.
It’s possible that Elizabeth checked up on Finn, but he missed the meeting he intended to attend, choosing to show up at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house for support instead.
Chase seems to be discussing Finn when he questions Elizabeth, “don’t you think he deserves some understanding?” Elizabeth is clearly feeling frustrated.
Jagger appears to be in a hospital room, without any guards present, a very sneaky situation. It could also be a doctor’s office, but the real mystery lies in who he is conversing with.
Whoever he is sharing his suspicions with, he is cautioning them, “you’re playing right into his hands.”
If it happens to be Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) he is speaking to, then the situation becomes highly suspicious – are they collaborating?
It appears that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be in Jason’s office at the Corinthos coffee warehouse, where Jason is giving him a warning.
Sonny’s behavior has been unpredictable ever since Jason returned to town, and Jason became suspicious immediately. Now, there’s a situation where Sonny attacked Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and Jason had to intervene.
Sonny exploded and made death threats towards both of them and has brought trouble upon himself, especially after Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) witnessed the altercation. Jason is genuinely concerned and tells his longtime friend and former boss that he is in serious trouble.
In another location, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has a meeting with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and makes a special request.
Carly emphasizes to Molly, the assistant district attorney, that their conversation must remain confidential. Is Carly planning to submit an anonymous whistleblower statement regarding Sonny (Maurice Benard) or Brennan?
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) wasn’t happy with Carly’s interference in the case, and Molly certainly can’t use anonymously reported information in court!
