General Hospital: Why Has Eden McCoy Been So Quiet Lately?

Eden is someone who likes to share the highlights reel of her life on social media just like the rest of us. However, she has also been dealing with a lot of personal pain.

Back in November of 2023, Eden announced that her mother Natasha had died of cancer.

Eden returned to Port Charles back in January after taking a break from the show. The actress took some time away from filming the soap since her mother Natasha passed away. Eden was temporarily replaced by actress Courtney Fulk.

Back in December, Eden even shared a little message on her Twitter account for her followers that said, “Wanted to hop on & wish everyone happy holidays.”

She also said, “I think I’m gonna take some time off of Twitter, but first needed to give thanks for any of the support within the last few weeks. Been a strange year, but I still feel very lucky. Wishing everyone reading this love and health.”

General Hospital: Eden Is Back In Port Charles And Taking It Day By Day

In March, Eden admitted that she’s very much aware that there are a lot of fans out there who would love to see Joss and Dex go the distance. 

She told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “I think they like to see them naked [laughs]! Just kidding — but I mean, that is a big part of it, I’m sure. I think they are a classic soap trope; he’s a good guy in a bad situation and it’s a Romeo and Juliet situation.”

The actress continued, “People like to watch a couple that has the odds against them and rebel against those odds. It’s one of those tales as old as time.”
