When it comes to Jennifer Lopez, there’s no doubt that she gets a lot of attention for both the right reasons and the wrong reasons. Well, let’s just say that 2024 hasn’t been the best year on record for the singer and actress. And we’ve got a few details below as to why.
The last time that Jennifer Lopez suffered a setback in her career was soon after she pulled the plug on her relationship with Ben Affleck back in 2004. Well, it looks like whatever happened to Jen’s career during that time period before and after her breakup with Ben Affleck is happening again. Ticket sales for her worldwide tour were so bad that the singer was forced to pull back on some of her concert dates. If that weren’t enough, her Amazon documentary turned out to be a huge flop, too. No one seems to be interested in what Jennifer Lopez has to say anymore.
For someone like Jennifer, who is used to always being an A-list star, that has to be very frustrating. That’s why she’s been supposedly coming home so upset. And for Ben Affleck, he’s had enough of it. He just wants to live a peaceful life but he can’t if his wife is not happy.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Ben has gotten very good at biting his tongue, but it’s known that he’s not happy at all about J. Lo’s endless need for attention. Ben loves J. Lo dearly, and he knew what he was getting into, to an extent. But his fear is that by putting so much of herself out there.”
Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want to look like a C-list celebrity and that’s why she knows that she’s got to do something to get her name in the headlines, even if it’s a divorce rumor. Now, that’s not to say that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck haven’t thought about it before, but they have been toying with the possibility of separating. Anyone who has seen the look on Ben’s face whenever he’s out and about with his wife would agree that he certainly doesn’t look like a very happy man.

Who didn't see this coming? Why did they have to remarry anyway? They in their early 50s so it would seem they would be past the stage of wanting children. Plus, it is 2024. They didn't need a marriage that may not work as it didn’t the first time. It’s tragic that two people who could have it all are flailing around like this.
