The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 28 show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asks his ex and baby mama Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to let his current boo Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) fill in for her at Marchetti.
Chelsea and Adam are dealing with their son Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD diagnosis and Sally would offer a welcome presence at Marchetti.
Chelsea wonders if Sally’s bad blood with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is something they should consider however. Chelsea needs to clear the idea with Summer and right now Summer has her own drama going, in the form of Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
It could be that Sally looks like a saint to Summer in comparison to Claire. If so, she may be very willing to give the redhead a chance to prove herself. Show spoilers tease that during the week of May 27-31, Sally gets an answer.
Meanwhile, Summer and Claire try to resolve their differences like adults.
Summer isn’t thrilled with the idea of Claire being her son Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) new nanny, and for good reason. It’s because of Claire that Harrison was kidnapped by Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
Yet Summer can’t deny that Harrison lights up when he’s with Claire, and seems to genuinely like and respect her.
On Tuesday’s Y&R episode Claire makes her case for being a nanny to a traumatized boy while having zero experience, and even fewer references.
Will Claire be able to protect Harrison once everyone learns that Jordan is alive and well?
Elsewhere, Harrison’s grandma Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) frets over her husband Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) sobriety.
Diane agreed to let him be Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA sponsor, but Jack’s unorthodox methods led to his own OD.
Nikki is now back from rehab, and it’s time for Diane to express her feelings about what went down between her and Jack. Diane may think that Nikki’s time away was not enough to prompt real change, and worry that Jack will spiral again if she has a setback.
How will Nikki handle being confronted by her arch enemy, Diane? Will they be able to bury the hatchet now that Jack risked his life to save Nikki, is that enough to get her to forgive Diane for letting her believe she killed her? Stranger things have happened!
