General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Succumbs To Anna’s Pressure – Charges Sonny With Assault

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal things took an ugly turn after Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception came to a close.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) laid a beatdown on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tried to stop things, some of the damage had already been done.

GH Spoilers: Dex Heller Faces A Dilemma

GH spoilers for the week of May 20 reveal that Dex will have a choice to make. He could easily charge the mob boss for attacking him after the wedding, considering how difficult Sonny has made things for him recently.

Still, Sonny spared Dex his life, not too long ago. Not many mob traitors act as spies and live to tell the tail. On top of all this, fans know that Sonny is not himself because of his tampered meds.

Would Dex have gotten under Sonny’s skin at the wedding if he was his “normal” self? Maybe, but he likely would have not attacked him the way he did.

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Places The Pressure On

If Dex presses charges, Sonny could be in deep danger. Not only did he attack Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in recent months but tacking this on could land Sonny in prison.

Plus, fans shouldn’t forget the fact that Dex went on record telling the police that Sonny ordered him to kill Cyrus while he was at the hospital; he retracted the order, but still. This will look quite damaging in a court of law.

Ever since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) found out about Sonny’s orders on Renault, she’s erased any of the good things the mob boss has done and is out for blood.

Will Devane pressure Dex into officially pressing charges so her own vendetta to bring Sonny down can come to fruition? The fact that he is officially a cop will also sweeten the prison time pot, right? Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may also encourage Dex to do this, which would undeniably sway his decision as it is clear he’s looking to win back his gal pal’s admiration.
