The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer’s Volcanic Reaction, Ms. Abbott Lures Tucker to Danger

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 20 tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is furious that her ex Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) hired former kidnapper/torturer Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be their son Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) nanny. It was because of Claire that the boy was taken hostage, after all.

Harrison adores Claire and is thrilled that Claire is his new nanny. What can Summer do at this point? She runs the risk of being the bad guy in Harrison’s eyes and Kyle has really put her in a no-win situation. Unless Summer is willing to twist her cousin’s arm and guilt her into backing out of the offer …

Y&R spoilers: Summer Does Not Want Claire Babysitting

It looks like Summer may agree to a trial run since the horse is already out of the gate. But she isn’t about to look the other way while Claire takes care of Harrison and this promises to be a sticking point for Skyle.

It may even prompt Kyle to play the daddy card and remind Summer that she is the boy’s stepmom while he is his biological father.

Elsewhere Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is a threat to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). This week the show finally broke down and gave her an off the cuff, maybe-sorta DID diagnosis so now they’ve fully committed to that plot point.

Ms. Abbott lures Tucker to the jazz lounge before it opens. Tucker knows that Ashley hasn’t been herself. Today Ms. Abbott is determined to get rid of Tucker but Southern Belle is fighting her on it.

Spoilers indicate that Ash is back and she also fights to resist the deathly plot, in a bid to protect Ashley.
