Everyone knew this was going to happen sooner or later. It’s only been one hot minute since General Hospital star Steve Burton announced that he’s been in a relationship with his new girlfriend, Michelle Lundstrom. And of course, the internet would not be the internet without trolls doing what they do, and it’s bully behind the computer screen. And that’s exactly what’s happening to Michelle right now. Apparently, Steve Burton’s new girlfriend is getting bullied by online trolls. The actor announced that he has been in a relationship with the Netflix star for the last several months now and of course, many trolls in the soap opera social media world sure have had a lot to say about it. Some have even compared her to Steve’s co-star Kelly Monaco, suggesting that he might have been in a relationship with her, too. Others went as far as to call Michelle a “weathered” version of Kelly. Ouch.
But there were also a lot of people who had positive things to say about Steve and Michelle’s new relationship. Some commented on X with, “Good for Steve, I’ve seen the picture of them together and she is beautiful, way more beautiful then his cheat of an ex. Steve traded up. I wish them both the best,” along with, “Don’t know why it’s anybody’s business. Steve should have a life away from the acting. If he’s with someone good for him. But leave him alone.”
And then there was this comment as well, “Just curious why this is a story. Who cares, this is his personal life. He’s been hiding the relationship for a while. It’s not new. Just new to you.”
