Days of Our Lives comings and goings say that there’s going to be a new face in Salem very soon. And that’s because actress Kennedy Garcia will be joining the show. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest reports, Kennedy Garcia will soon be making her way to this fictional town of Salem. If the actress looks familiar, that’s because she is. Kennedy was first discovered by American Girl and became the first model with Down syndrome for the brand. She then went on to model for brands such as Justice, Claire’s, Disney, and many more. If that weren’t enough, she’s also a public speaker and often talks about how it’s beneficial to become friends with someone that has a disability.
Of course, many DOOL fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some comments included, “So excited to see her on the show! She sounds like an amazing young lady! I think that it will be amazing to see a special needs person act on this soap opera. Can’t wait,” along with, “This news about Kennedy is wonderful to read. CONGRATULATIONS! She is an amazing young lady. She went to the school I worked at.”
Another fan wrote, “How refreshing!!!! Welcome to Days Of Our Lives. Looking forward to seeing Kennedy Garcia on this soap. I know that she’s going to do amazing things and that she’s going to be a huge asset for the soap.”
This just goes to show that Days of Our Lives is the one daytime television show that has always been ahead of the game, right? With that said, we can’t wait to see Kennedy on the small screen as well. This is going to be so exciting!
