He’s definitely the kind of brother that you’ll always want to have on your side. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Rafe will manage to uncover some key evidence that might clear Gabi of Li’s murder. Or at least, that’s what he’s hoping for. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Galen Gering, who plays Rafe on the hit Peacock soap, says that this has been a dream for his character ever since his sister Gabi was convicted. He’s been dealing with some immense guilt over not being able to prove Gabi’s innocence. The actor put it this way to the publication, “So the fact that new evidence is coming to light, which will potentially vindicate her, is great. Rafe is completely elated about this new evidence, and it’s strong evidence. It’s an attempt to get some more testimony or, potentially, have Ava remember something that happened that could also be used to buoy [Li’s murder] case.”
The actor also said that the revelation has been quite traumatizing for Ava, but Rafe is on a mission to find out the truth, nonetheless. Plus, Ava’s own memory says that she was sure she saw Gil till Li that night and not Gabi. Galen said, “So he’s not really getting caught up in it. He’s also trying to make sure that he’s there for Ava if she were to go down some emotional rabbit hole. But, yeah, this is obviously incredibly emotional for Rafe. As a big brother and father figure, the guy feels like a failure for not being able to have gotten Gabi off in all this time and actually vindicated.”
Days of Our Lives airs on the Peacock network. Fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
