General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, May 14 tease someone’s on a date, someone’s suspicious, and someone delivers accusations.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a date, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) has suspicions, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) delivers accusations.
At Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) apartment, Greg and Alexis Davis are deep in conversation on the couch. Greg expresses uncertainty about whether a simple apology will suffice to clear up a misunderstanding.
As they gear up for his son Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding, Greg and Alexis exchange valuable advice.
With the big day just around the corner, Greg is leaving no stone unturned to ensure everything runs smoothly. Alexis is committed to being a supportive friend to Greg and offering him sound guidance.
Meanwhile, over at the Metro Court, Anna finds herself on a date with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but little does he know that she has ulterior motives.
As they sit together, Valentin confesses that his feelings for Anna have always been serious. However, Anna knows better than to take his words at face value; she must tread carefully as she attempts to extract information about Pikeman from him.
It’s a game of espionage between the two, both seasoned spies who have played this game for years. Anna suspects that Valentin’s involvement with Pikeman runs much deeper than he claims, and she’s caught him in numerous lies; it’s time to uncover the truth and expose Valentin’s true intentions.
Elsewhere, the atmosphere is tense at the Jerome Art Gallery as John Jagger confronts someone about their intentions to take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
It’s clear that Jagger has specifically directed this question towards Ava Jerome (Maura West), given her past involvement with the mob. While Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may also have inquiries for her, it is evident that Jagger recognizes Ava as the only remaining member of the notorious Jerome crime family.
He must be well aware of the connection between Ava and her late siblings, Julian and Olivia Jerome (William DeVry, Tonja Walker). Furthermore, Jagger surely hasn’t overlooked the fact that Ava has been residing with Sonny, along with their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is seen meeting with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to discuss a business proposal. Jordan’s excitement is evident as she exclaims that she never thought he would ask!
It seems like they are discussing the deal Drew recently closed with Congressman McConkey (played by Sam McMurray), a topic they had previously discussed. McConkey had only a few conditions to agree to, one of them being memorialized after his battle with stage four lung cancer.
Back at the art gallery, Nina draws a new boundary with Ava, snarking “If that’s not worthy of payback, I don’t know what is.”
Maybe she’s walked in on Jagger talking to Ava about his suspicions she’s trying to walk away with Sonny’s mob and assumes he’s there to arrest her! The dynamic between the two foes turned friends turned foes once more is filled with distrust and suspicion.
Ava’s expression is a mix of slyness and indignation. She’s also broadcasting an aura of a snake getting ready to strike!
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back in his office at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, where Anna had sought him out earlier. He appears hesitant as she suggests leveraging Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) mistake to their benefit.
Anna had just reprimanded Carly for meddling in the Pikeman investigation by visiting Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville. Jason’s doubt likely stems from Carly’s tendency to act impulsively, as she has already made arrangements to return to Pentonville!
