Maybe some things are just left better unsaid, but apparently not everyone feels this same way. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests General Hospital star Steve Burton, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, has been pressured to open up about his personal life, including his heartbreaking divorce from his ex-wife Sheree Burton. And it seems like the one person who might have been pushing hard to do this is his General Hospital co-star, Maurice Benard. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Even though he’s one of the biggest stars in the daytime television world, Steve Burton has managed to keep rather quiet about his personal life, especially seeing how things haven’t been very easy on him lately. As many fans can recall, Steve was forced to tell the world that his ex-wife Sheree Burton was having another baby with a different man when she debuted her baby bump back in 2022. And yes, the couple were still married at the time.
If that weren’t enough, Steve has also gone through some major transitions in his career, too. He was fired from General Hospital for not getting the vaccine back in 2021 only to find a job at Days of Our Lives and then get rehired again by Port Charles in 2024.
Clearly, everyone wants to know what’s going on with Steve but the one person who has managed to get him to talk has been Maurice. But he’s only doing it as part of his YouTube mental health series, State of Mind. It will definitely be interesting to see what Steve has to say during the episode and how Maurice will respond to it, too.

I think it’s his business and right to not talk about it. The alleged facts are out there, what more do we need to know? That he thinks it’s sucks? I think he has far better things he can talk about in his life than that. Leave the guy alone.

Steve private life is his alone, I don't think we should have to know about his wife was having a baby but I guess that is because he is a star. Would you like to know who having a affair in my neighborhood????? No you wouldn't!!!! And I don't care about that ! So the Divorce is of the table; if he wants to talk to someone then that is different. Thank you.
