She might have to deal with a lot of drama as her character Ashley Abbott in the fictional town of Genoa City that she plays in, but luckily her off-screen life is nowhere near the same. Of course, we are talking about The Young and the Restless actress Eileen Davidson, who just shared the most adorable photo with her mother-in-law, Pat. As many fans know, Eileen’s mother-in-law is Pat Van Patten, who was married to Dick Van Patten. Their son, Vince Van Patten, is Eileen’s husband. Eileen shared a photo of their shopping trip to Bloomingdale’s in Beverly Hills and captioned it with, “Shopping and lunch with the loveliest MIL!”
Of course, many of Eileen’s fans and followers didn’t hesitate at all to share their comments on her post. Many of them wrote, “Sending you love, Pat!! I always loved watching you on TV when you appeared with Dick. You two had such a connection & respect for one another despite being a Hollywood couple! You have a wonderful daughter-in-law in Eileen! Sending you both love!” along with, “Saw her many years ago at flushing meadow when Vince was playing…she was there with Dick …no one recognized them…..I didn’t want to disturb them…but as she passed me…she gave me the sweetest smile…I never forgot that.”
Another fan wrote, “What is her secret? She looks just like I remember her from pick up at VNJH. We LOVE wonderful, beautiful MILs. You are very lucky to have her in your life. God bless.”
