One of the reasons why the Duchess of Sussex is so excited to be in the country is because she’s revealed in the past that she’s over 40 percent Nigerian. Plus, there’s also strong speculation that Meghan wants to adopt a child from the African country. She knows that her window of opportunity to get pregnant is almost closing and that’s why she she’s looking at other avenues. Seeing how she feels like she has such close ties to Nigeria, Meghan feels like it would only make sense to adopt from the country. 

For Meghan, she knows that adding another child to her family will give her the attention that she craves. And not only will adopting a baby in Nigeria will give her the street cred that she supposedly desperately wants from Hollywood, but it willalso raise a lot of eyebrows from the royals – and not in a good way at all. Meghan Markle knows that the best way to get under the royal family’s skin is to do something totally unexpected, like add an adopted child to the royal line. She knows that it will not only irk people like Prince William, but it will also force them to pay more attention to her. And at the end of the day, that’s exactly what she wants.
