General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 8 tease confessions, admissions, and spy missions! Laura Collins (Genie Francis) makes a confession, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) makes an admission, and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) on a spy mission!
At home, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) breaks some news to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and she doesn’t seem like she’s reacting well.
He had gone to the PCPD with the full intention of resigning his detective job to go into something safer and not so dangerous.
But Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talked him out of it with the caveat that anything Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) related would be reassigned to someone else to investigate.
Sam’s in tears as Dante asks her if she’ll stay with him if he’s still a cop. With Sonny’s erratic behavior of late she’s been afraid he’d turn on his son and try to take him out like he did Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)!
At the hospital, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) talks to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) inside his office, and there’s a problem-Chase says there’s just one big problem!
It sounds like they’re discussing future plans for their father Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) care, considering his ALS is getting worse.
They all agreed not to put Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) in another situation of Greg taking a turn for the worse with them alone together. He’d been babysitting her when he had an attack and she had to get his oxygen for him—that can’t happen again.
Meanwhile, Laura is at the Metro Court talking to her husband, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) about her recent visit to Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
She’d wanted to see how she was coming along after her hip replacement, the defective one giving her cobalt poisoning having been switched out.
Laura’s feeling a little guilty in spite of herself, having just wanted to be compassionate-she even gave Heather a photo of their mutual grandson Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).
She looks Kevin in the eye, and he’s obviously concerned for his wife as she tells him she’s empathizing with a serial killer!
Yet it wasn’t until Heather got cobalt poisoning that she’d turned into a killer-although all her life she’d been manipulative and injected people with LSD and the like!
John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is at Bobbie’s and comes across Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) who’s surprised when he says he owes her an apology.
The last run-in they’d had was right after Jason came to Port Charles and was hiding out in the boathouse, and Jagger had questioned Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Brook Lynn walked in on it and ran him off the Quartermaine property!
Jagger will also catch up with her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer)-they apparently knew each other back in the day. Mother is likely sitting with daughter at Bobbie’s.
Elsewhere, Jason makes an admission to Anna about what Jagger and the FBI actually have on him-and it involves Carly. He’s been protecting Carly for things she did when Sonny was presumed dead and in Nixon Falls, and Jason was in Canada with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Carly had briefly taken over Sonny’s organization and represented him at a Five Families meeting. If Jason doesn’t do what Jagger wants, he’ll haul Carly in on RICO charges! He tells Anna if she ever finds out I know exactly what her reaction’s going to be!
In the meantime, Carly’s on a spy mission to Pentonville Prison after eavesdropping on Jagger and Jason’s conversation in the Corinthos Coffee warehouse.
Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) smiles and says this day just got one hundred percent better, seeing her waiting for him in the visitation room!
Carly’s pretty sure she can use his strong attraction to her to charm the information out of him about who took his place as the leader of Pikeman.
If she can get that information for Jagger then maybe Jagger will leave Jason alone and he can live his life. Carly may be overestimating Brennan’s cunning, however-he may see right through her.

Laura never learns. She helped Esme not take responsibility for her actions and look what happened. I mean if she wants to help Esme's psycho mother get released, by all means go for it. But Laura better keep her mouth shut when Dr. O returns and takes care of Heather.
