This soap star has made it to the big leagues. Well, sort of. Days of Our Lives star Jessica Serfaty, who is best known for her role as Sloan on the hit Peacock soap, was invited to this year’s Met Gala. But unfortunately, not everyone was impressed with her look. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The actress, who happened to be the only daytime television star who was lucky enough to walk the red carpet at the Met Gala, wore a floral-inspired ensemble with a silver bikini underneath it. And while there is no doubt that Jessica looked very beautiful, there were few people out there who were actually impressed with her dress, if any at all.
Many critics have commented on the matter with, “How is it that she got to go? Her dress isn’t even that great. I mean, WHAT?!??!?! Has Lucci ever been invited??? Has Francis or Geary? Even Deidre Hall??? She is on the red carpet and I don’t believe any true daytime icons have made it to the Met Ball,” song with, “Lucci is an icon and a New Yorker and Erica was a former model. She should have been invited in the past. There were lots of beautiful couture creations there. Hers wasn’t one of them.”
Another critic wrote, “Sorry but her costume (yes costume) was hideous. I gagged (in the old sense of the word) when she showed the swimsuit underneath. No offense to her but I don’t think Jessica was the one that was invited. I believe she was the guest of her fiance.”
So far Jessica herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received.
