So much for his plans to move back to the Big Apple. There’s heavy speculation that Barron Trump might change his mind about his college plans and stay put in the Sunshine State. While there were some reports indicating that he wanted to move back to New York City so he can attend NYU in the fall, it seems like he might have had a change of heart as there’s a good chance he might stay in Florida instead. Will Barron Trump go to the University of Miami? That’s what a lot of Trump fans and critics alike can’t help but wonder. There’s some speculation on social media suggesting he might want to make UM his home simply because he loves the basketball team and also because he could still visit Mar-A-Lago over the weekends. Should Melania Trump decide to stay in Palm Beach, that would give Barron more of a reason not to leave Florida. It’s been their home ever since they left Washington, D.C. back in 2021. As much as both Melania and Barron do miss life in the big city, they don’t want to start all over again by relocating once more. Plus, there is no beating the weather in South Florida.
So far the Trumps have made no comments about Barron Trump and his college plans but the young man knows that he has to make a decision sooner or later. Miami would certainly be ideal because it’s also where his half siblings Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump live, too. To have most of the Trump family commute just from Washington, D.C. to Florida and back would actually make it very easy on everyone. Soon enough the entire Trump family is going to be cheering on the Hurricanes.
