Donald Trump has a reason to be angry at his former assistant, Hope Hicks. That’s because everything that could have gone wrong during her testimony for his hush money trial certainly did go wrong. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to Deadline, Hope Hicks didn’t hold back and she didn’t hold back any tears as she was visibly crying during her time on the stand. She was asked about what she knew about Donald Trump paying off an adult film star in order to keep her quiet about their alleged affair. Hope claimed that she didn’t know anything about it but seemed to ball her eyes out in front of the judge. Yikes.
Of course, many fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “You can keep supporting Trump, and even vote for him, but this man is done in politics, period. He will never be President of the United States again. But please keep buying his cheap bibles and his worthless stock,” along with, “She cried in court but cheered when Trump tried to silence women. It’s unbelievable that ANY woman still has any kind of respect for this sad misogynistic man.”
Another critic wrote, “Trump is either lying by saying he’s not allowed to testify because of the gag order, or he’s too stupid to understand the constitution. Either way, he’s falling asleep in the courtroom and shouldn’t be in any elected office.”
And then there was this comment as well, “Another disastrous day for trump. More damning testimony, this time from Hope Hicks who has an outstanding memory and who reiterated that Trump is a micromanager directly involved in all things.”
So far Hope Hicks herself has made no comments about the matter just yet, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. She just wants to stay away from this mess.
