Let’s just say that this past year has not worked out in a way that Jennifer Lopez had hoped for. That’s because anything that could go wrong, has definitely gone wrong. Even though she was once considered an A-list star who was at the top of her game, Jennifer seems to be dwindling down the celebrity ladder. The last time that Jennifer Lopez suffered a setback in her career was soon after she pulled the plug on her relationship with Ben Affleck back in 2004. As many fans can recall, the couple failed to make it down the aisle that year. However, Jennifer did manage to recover, as she bounded back in 2005 with the box office hit, Monster In Law.
Well, it looks like whatever happened to Jen’s career during that time period before and after her breakup with Ben Affleck is happening again. Ticket sales for her worldwide tour were so bad that the singer was forced to pull back on some of her concert dates. If that weren’t enough, her Amazon documentary turned out to be a huge flop, too. No one seems to be interested in what Jennifer Lopez has to say anymore.
For the multi-talented singer and actress, this has got to be devastating. But at the same time, a lot of critics have pointed out that there seems to be too much attention drawn to her relationship with Ben Affleck and all of the drama surrounding it. After all, it’s hard for the two of them to even do a coffee run without someone getting into an argument about it.
