The Young and the Restless News: Get To Know Melissa Ordway A Little Bit Better

Sometimes you think you know everything there is to know about your favorite daytime television star until you realize there is so much more to learn about them. This time around we are talking about The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway, who is best known for her role as Abby Newman on the hit CBS soap. She recently opened up to Soap Opera Digest about some of her biggest likes and some of her worst dislikes. You’d be surprised to hear what she has to say. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Melissa was asked what is she most passionate about besides acting. She said, “My family. My daughters are the most precious gifts and I am always striving to be the best mom I can be,” while also adding, “I would love to open a home decor/staging business. Or a home-flipping business.”

Now, as far as what “needless luxury” she would like to add to her house, Melissa said, “Heated bathroom floors! The tile feels so cold when you get out of the shower.”

And believe it or not, Melissa is a huge Disneyland fan. But then again, what soap star isn’t, right? She said, “I love the parade! The look of magic and wonder in my daughters’ eyes when watching the parade is priceless.”

And yes, Melissa does think that there is something going on at night that we should pay more attention too. She explained, “I think UFOs exist! The government says they do, right [chuckles]?”

Ha! We certainly couldn’t have said all of this better ourselves. It’s no wonder so many fans loe Melissa Ordway. She’s just so down to each!
