The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 30 show that the Abbott family must try and wrangle Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) back to reality.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has contacted Ashley’s Parisian psychologist friend, Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), to insist that he must help her.
Alan agrees and comes to Genoa City where Traci fills him in on all of her sister’s eccentric behavior.
Later he greets Ashley and her quirky friend.
Last week fans were introduced to Southern Belle, a hackneyed, stereotyped portrayal of a southern woman. The show is obvious staying shallow, for what reason remains unknown.
Alan gets an eyeful when Belle tries to seduce him. He’s so good at his craft that he doesn’t even realize he’s dealing with one of Ashley’s passengers.
First the clan helps her by bringing in family friend Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and now personal friend Alan, what could go wrong? They have the means to put Ashley where she belongs, but again, the show isn’t trafficking in reality with this cliched plot.
Instead, we will see Davidson do her best with the material she’s given. Belle makes life difficult for Alan but hopefully his skill set kicks in and he sets her on the right path.
But before then, look for the corny shenanigans to continue.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) interrogates Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in his downstairs pokey. He wants to know where Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is, but Jordan is a smart cookie and isn’t ready to capitulate to Victor’s demands.
Fortunately for Claire, her parents go sleuthing at Jordan’s old motel room and find a mysterious doll. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recognizes a key set hidden in the doll and she and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) tear off to find Claire.
Explosive show spoilers tease that Victoria makes a shocking discovery, with Cole right behind her. It sounds like her parents rescue Claire, but after all this time, what shape will she be in?
Claire never fully rehabbed from her awful life with Jordan, now she has been traumatized all over again. Tell us fans, what do you think is next for Claire, a happily ever after or a Nightmare on Elm Street?
