She’s certainly feeling all the love! The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford has shared a very special message for her fans. As many probably know by now, the actress has been nominated for Best Outstanding Actress at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards. Here’ what she has to say about it!
Sharing several photos with her castmates, including Eric Braeden, who plays Victor Newman on the show, Michelle wrote in her caption, “Every year (back in the day) that @christianjleblanc and I were nominated we would go to a cafe and spend about an hour “celebrating our greatness”. That’s what we would call it. Moments, days like these don’t come around often in life. You MUST celebrate the wins, the good days. Celebrate the great acknowledgments. That’s what we did today.”
Michelle continued, “I speak for all of the actors here. We are honored to be nominated. I love these folks. What a lovely day. I’ve been reminded yet again that life is so incredibly short. It’s so damn short. Celebrate the love you feel. Celebrate life… cuz the alternative sucks.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for Michelle’s fans and followers to comment on her post. Many of them wrote, “Awwww this is so wonderful! I love it! You are all amazing actors and fabulous people!! So happy for you all!” along with, “I called out a post made by CBS yesterday….they congratulated all the show noms except you! Congrats- you deserve the win!”
Another fan said, “I for one love how you are celebrating each other’s accomplishments.There’s nothing but love and respect that you can feel from the photo. You are all winners in my eyes.”
It goes without saying that fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
