Is Chelsea Clinton jealous of Ivanka Trump? That’s what a lot of fans and critics alike can’t help but wonder. While the two former First Daughters used to be the best of friends, these days you wouldn’t find them speaking to one another, let alone in the same room together. Before the 2016 presidential election, Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump were friendly enough with one another that they didn’t mind posing at red carpets together. But that all happened before all of the nasty insults that their parents Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton exchanged that year during their campaign for the White House. And while Ivanka tried to stay neutral throughout the entire ordeal, Chelsea couldn’t help but defend her mother when she had to.
That said, there’s also speculation that Chelsea just might be a little jealous of Ivanka, her modeling past and the glamorous lifestyle that she leads. After all, Ivanka Trump still is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. While the press doesn’t really report much about Chelsea and her personal life, Ivanka is still in the headlines for one reason or another. Whether it’s because of her new friendship with Kim Kardashian or a sexy dress that she might wear during a date night with her husband Jared Kushner, Ivanka always finds herself in the spotlight for one reason or another. And that might give Chelsea yet another reason to feel bitter.
Of course, Chelsea herself has not made any comments about the matter but some critics believe the writing is on the wall. But then again, the two women do come from very different worlds and the world that Ivanka is in might not be one that Chelsea would fit in. Do you agree?
