The Young and the Restless star Michael Mealor is predicting what might or might not happen to his character, Kyle Abbott, as he continues to search for his son Harrison, who has been kidnapped! While everyone’s pointing their fingers at Claire, it seems like there might be another person who could have taken the little boy – his mother, Tara Locke. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Michael suggested that Tara might be involved in Harrison’s kidnapping as well. He said, “Oh, yes. That is something I have dreamed about. I love the idea of Tara coming back and fighting Summer and Kyle, and it just kind of turning all of that on its head.”
The last time that fans got to see Tara in Genoa City was back in 2021, when she got arrested for money laundering. And while no one knows where she really is right now, Michael says that Tara’s return to the scene would certainly be explosive for this storyline.
The actor explained, “I think that would be just a great dramatic storyline and I think it would be terrifying and extremely confusing for Harrison as a child. I think for Harrison irreparable damage that would happen from that as a child. And I think Kyle, that is another one of his worst fears, which is kind of in the similar vein of him, the potential possibility of him losing his son if she fights for custody, [if] she’s out of jail or something like that. I think that would be a fantastic storyline to play. And I’m always here to bring back a character or bring on a new character. I always love that.”
