Melania Trump is selling $245 necklaces right before Mother’s Day and of course, a lot of people can’t help but scratch their heads over it. In a statement that she shared with the press, Melania said of her new ‘Her Love and Gratitude’ necklaces, “Being a mother is one of the most important roles in life. For this Mother’s Day, I have designed the ‘Her Love & Gratitude’ necklace to express immense gratitude and honor all mothers.”

Of course, many Trump fans and critics alike sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “Why have all other former First Ladies given their names to charities and possibly the richest one of all is selling jewelry for a profit? I would like to see the amount this woman even gives to charity. Will she start selling bible written in Slovenian?” along with, “Don’t you just love former first ladies acting like Vegematic salespeople. Fox News, Newsmax, rightwing talk radio would go nuts if the Obamas were out peddling bibles, shoes, jewelry hats, flags whatever. But no problem with the Trump grifters.”

Another critic wrote, “Does this necklace have a secret tracking device on it so you can catch your philandering husband cheating on you after you’ve become a new mother?”

And then there was this comment as well, “She already tried selling something (was it makeup?) when she first moved to the White House. Now, here we go again. Apparently even a billionaire can never get enough money. Here’s a hint Melania and Donald: happiness will come from within, from doing something worthwhile.”
