If there’s anything that we’ve learned already, it’s that it’s her way or the highway. Apparently, one of the reasons why Prince Harry has decided to renounce his British residency and proclaim the United States as his one and only home is because he didn’t really have much of a choice in the matter. That’s because the Duke of Sussex knows that the only way he will be able to see his two children, Archie and Lilibet, is if he continues to live in California. Meghan Markle’s ultimatum over Archie and Lilibet has been revealed. Despite all of the reports that say Prince Harry is feeling very homesick and that he wants to go back to the UK, it looks like he’s staying put. He’s got his family life in California and Meghan has made it clear that the only way Prince Harry will see his two children grow up is if he stays in the United States. Because there’s no way that she’s willing to compromise and have her children fly multiple times to the UK, should the two of them divorce. That’s just out of the question. And Meghan knows that if she and Harry were to divorce, that’s what he would want. So that’s why she supposedly made him choose America over going back to the UK.
For Prince Harry, he’s stuck. There’s just not much that he can do in his current situation. But critics would say that the Duke of Sussex should have known what he was getting into. He should have known that he was taking a huge risk by agreeing to move to America with Meghan and leaving everything that he’s ever known behind. There’s just no way that he can go back to his royal life now because he would end up leaving his two children behind and that’s the last thing he wants to do.
