Kim Kardashian Is Bringing A New Soap Opera To Netflix

Well, color us surprised with this one. There’s a new report that says Kim Kardashian is bringing a brand new soap opera to Netflix. Along with Hollywood actress Emma Roberts, the two ladies are teaming up with Pretty Little Liars showrunner for the Netflix soap, Calabasas. How exciting! According to Deadline, Netflix is creating a new soap called Calabasas, which will be based on Via Bleidner‘s book If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now. All of the action is going to center around a young girl from the midwest that gets the shock of her life when her family moves to Calabasas. She will be attending Calabasas High School, where she will deal with all of the trials and tribulations that you would expect from the life of a teenage girl, but in a very soapy way of course.

So far Kim Kardashian herself has not made any comments about her new project, but there’s no doubt that fans will be very excited about a new soap opera coming to town. Right now, all fans have are the four regular soaps that have been entertaining fans for the last ten years: The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and Days of Our Lives.

All About The Netflix Series Calabasas

But that’s not the only show that daytime television fans are excited about. CBS has announced that they are developing a brand new soap opera called The Gate with former The Bold and the Beautiful head writer Michele Van Jean. The show will be about a wealthy black family residing at an upscale gated community. There’s already some speculation on social media that some of the hottest soap opera stars might join The Gates.
