General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Falls To Cop Death Curse

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is in the middle of completing testing and training on his journey to becoming a police officer.

Given his background, he’s likely to pass all the entrance exams. Dex wants to atone for his past, specifically his recent history working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) but that could be a huge mistake. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is already concerned about what Sonny will do once he finds out Dex’s plans.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos isn’t thinking clearly!

As viewers know, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has had Sonny’s bipolar medication altered to a lower dosage, so his behavior is even more erratic than usual.

Sonny almost had Dex killed once before, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) stopped him. Instead, Dex was ordered to leave town and never look back.

But Joss tracked Dex down and brought his back home, promising to convince Sonny to lay off Dex. But Sonny won’t tolerate Dex joining the force because he knows too much about his organization.

GH Spoilers – Cops in Port Charles are in constant danger!

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) was recently shot in the line of duty and would have died had Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) not taken care of him until medics arrived.

Dante pulled through but many others haven’t been so fortunate in recent years. Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) are just two of Port Charles finest who have succumbed to death in recent years while in the line of duty.

Being a cop is dangerous under the best circumstances let alone when the cop is a former member of a mob family.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane wants to protect Dex Heller!

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been pushing for Dex to join the force ever since Dex confessed his history with Sonny to her. She believes that it’s the best way to protect Dex from Sonny and that his knowledge of Sonny’s organization could prove useful.

But Anna was advised by Detective Bennett (Kendrick Cross) that Dex’s motives might lead to his death. Kendrick believes that recruits who have something to atone for are less careful and more apt to take more dangerous risks.

Kendrick believes that even though Dex has done well so far with his testing, Anna should think twice about bringing him in.
