General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, April 22 tease showstopper showers, dangerous discoveries, and parental problems!

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) holds a showstopper shower, Ava Jerome (Maura West) encounters someone’s dangerous discovery, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have parental problems.

It looks like it’s Lois who rented The Savoy out from under Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) for Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) bridal shower.

She makes a grand entrance in her feather boa, shouting, “It’s showtime”! The Savoy is all done up in balloons and a gift table can be seen as guests start arriving.

Later, Lois will impress Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with her knowledge of Deception Cosmetics. She looks and she sounds like she might be a big customer!

GH Spoilers: Maxie’s Possible Offer

Elsewhere in the room Maxie makes a possible offer, as she tells Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to be careful, they will take them up on that!

It sounds like one or both of them have offered to help with something at the shower. More guests are arriving, and there are a lot of gifts on the table already that can be seen behind the trio.

It looks like the venue is full of guests and half of Port Charles is at the big “Bensonhurster” shindig!

General Hospital Spoilers: Rooster Alert At A Hen Party?

Men usually aren’t invited to a bridal shower, except sometimes the bride’s father might be there-hold up, there’s a rooster alert at this hen party! Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has shown up to reconnect with Willow about something of importance.

He tells a concerned looking Willow that maybe she’d like to know about something.

The something could be that he learned Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) sold Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) half of the Metro Court to Jason and now Carly has it back.

This way Willow knows she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) can eat in peace at the Metro Court Restaurant, even though Nina still works upstairs at Crimson.

GH Spoilers: Dangerous Discoveries

Upstairs in the Metro Court, Ava appears trapped by a raging Nina, who confronts her over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)! Nina is wary as Nina rushes towards her, wanting to know how long she’d been playing her for a fool!

Ava had promised Nina that she would be her advocate to talk Sonny into reconciling, but she’s been working against her trying to get Sonny for herself. It looks like potentially a dangerous discovery for Ava, who knows what Nina’s capable of when she’s desperate.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Explodes At Carly Spencer

Elsewhere, Sonny explodes at Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) who is probably trying to calm Sonny concerning Jason, and possibly Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as well.

Sonny blew up at Carly and Nina at the Metro Court, right in front of Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and called Carly, Nina and Jason liars and traitors. Previously he got upset about Dex, when Ava had told him Dex was becoming a cop.

An angry Sonny confronts Carly, telling her that’s proof he’s working against him, so the discussion is probably about Dex. In the meantime, Jason is in for a confrontation of his own!

GH Spoilers: Parental Problems

Elsewhere, Sam and Jason discuss their parental problems as Sam, very emotional, cries how can Jason do this to their son?

Jason didn’t do anything likely except notify Sam that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) had gotten into his room over Bobbie’s, Jason finding him wearing his leather jacket.

She’s told Jason to stay away from Danny, and Danny to stay away from Jason, but Danny’s not listening-he wants to hang onto his dad, possibly fearing losing him again. Jason might hurt over not having a relationship with his son, but as long as he’s bait for Pikeman, it might be for the best.
