Of course, we are talking about The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden. The actor, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap, certainly had a lot to say about prices at the gas station. But then again, don’t we all? Eric, who is often very vocal about politics and what’s going on in the country, took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “So, prices at the pump are rising again?? Ever wonder why? To make it difficult for BIDEN, so people will be pissed off with his administration; and why do oil companies want that? To support the ORANGE GUY, so he’ll give them HUGE tax breaks!! THAT THE LONG AND THE SHORT OF IT!”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for his social media fans and followers to weigh in on the matter as well. Some of them wrote comments such as, “Maybe you should ask yourself how we live in a Country where the sitting president, Joe Biden can use the FBI and the DOJ and the courts to target his political rival. Or how he opens up the border to illegals who going around the country murdering and raping. You’re out of touch,” along with, “Gas prices do go up every summer as that is when Americans drive the most. Saudis and oil companies have been gouging us for years.”

Another critic wrote, “Companies are raising prices but this time I don’t think it’s to help Dump. OPEC is cutting output by 1.6 million barrels a DAY in May and that’s driving the price. OPEC did the same thing in the 70’s – I know, like me, you remember that nightmare.”
