The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that the critics have certainly spoken. While there’s no doubt that many fans are enjoying the RJ, Zende and Luna love triangle, some believe that it might be time for Joshua Hoffman to take a break from the hit CBS soap. And apparently, there’s a good reason for it. That’s because they think Joshua, who plays RJ on the soap, just doesn’t have the chemistry that is needed for him to continue with Luna, who is played by Lisa Yamada. Should Joshua Hoffman stay or go? That’s what a lot of The Bold and the Beautiful fans can’t help but ask these days. And it looks like the answer is a pretty straightforward one. Many fans and critics alike have even taken to social media to weigh in on the matter and let’s just say that they are certainly not holding back on their feelings over it.
Some have even commented with, “Joshua Hoffman is not a good actor and he doesn’t have a lot of charisma to compensate for it. He should be fired. I know he’s gotten subpar material, but so have other #BoldandBeautiful actors and he can’t rise to the occasion,” along with, “His character lacks chemistry with the character Luna. His anger looked so fake in today’s episode. Lisa Yamada and Delon de Metz are too talented for this constant propping.”
Another critic wrote, “At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt, because soaps are a uniquely difficult format. But he’s had so much time (and SO much airtime), and yet he hasn’t improved. At all. Time to send RJ off to lick his wounds and maybe someday bring him back via a more seasoned actor.”
But then there was this comment as well, “I’m sorry, ya’ll. I like RJ. I’m giving him a chance but he’s not the best actor. He just strikes me as goofy. Maybe he’ll improve with time.”

I think he is so full of himself, on a personal level. Whether standing or sitting he us trying to show if his arms. It is sickening.
Agreed, RJ needs to go/be replaced. I waited to see if he would improve but it just hasn’t happened…on with the show!!
RJ is not the only one that needs to go, so does Luna.
The first time I saw him, I knew he wasn’t right for the role.
