The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire Manipulated Kyle

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if Kyle had the power to turn back time, he certainly would, especially now that his son is missing. The young father feels helpless that his son Harrison has gone missing and guilty that he might have put a little too much trust in Claire, who could have been the one to kidnap him. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Michael Mealor says one of the reasons why he put too much trust into Claire too fast is because he knows a thing or two about forgiveness. That, and he just wanted to give her a chance. He put it this way in an interview with the publication, “I think Kyle…probably sees a girl who really just wants to be a part of the family, and fit in and wants to be loved. He knows about her past and he knows about her history and all that kind of stuff. But I think at the end of the day, Kyle is Jack Abbott’s son, so he does have this big heart, and he kind of leads with it a little bit.”

What’s more, it seems like Claire did a good job of manipulating Kyle and his own feelings of anting to be accepted by someone. Michael said, “I know she kind of draws him in and then makes him question everything,” he revealed. “And I really appreciate that about Kyle, that he really gives everyone a chance. He rarely judges people based off of what he hears about them. He allows them to speak for themselves, which is kind of a nice trait to have, I think.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Kyle?

That said, Kyle feels as though he made a huge mistake by trusting Claire too soon. Michael says that this storyline is “an interesting one, that’s for sure. I always said there was a list of soapy things that I wanted to happen within my soap career, and this is another one I get to check off the box for sure.”
