Either she’s there or it’s not going to happen at all. There’s heavy social media speculation that Meghan Markle doesn’t want Prince Harry going to the UK alone, just because she’s worried that he might have a meeting with Kate Middleton behind closed doors. And while there’s no doubt that the Duke of Sussex certainly wants to see his sister-in-law, and especially now that she has cancer, it seems like there is one person that is getting in his way from making that happen: his wife, Meghan. Meghan Markle doesn’t want Prince Harry to meet Kate Middleton alone. And she certainly has many different reasons behind it, too. She’s worried that if Harry and Kate have a meeting then the Duke of Sussex might consider coming back to the UK full-time again. After all, they were very close back in the day before Meghan Markle came into the picture. A lot of critics think that Meghan was jealous of the relationship that Harry had with Kate, even though it was very sibling-like in nature. But because they were so close, the Duchess of Sussex felt like she has a reason to intervene.
It goes without saying that Prince Harry would certainly love to chat with his sister-in-law, especially since she is dealing with such a terrible time in her life right now. But the only thing that is getting in the way is of course, his wife. If they are going to meet, Meghan wants to at least be in the room so she can monitor the conversation the best that she can. It might sound creepy, but that’s what she’s willing to do.
