It’s either her way, or no way. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests it was Melania Trump who pushed Ivanka Trump out of the door. As many political fans are probably aware of, Ivanka has decided that she wants to focus on her family life and not her father Donald Trump’s campaign to win back the White House again. Well, it seems like there might have been another factor that helped her make her decision: her mother-in-law, Melania. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Apparently, Melania and Ivanka are two Trump women who do not get along behind closed doors. While they have certainly done a good job of grinning it and baring it in front of the cameras, behind the scenes they don’t even talk to one another. It was rumored that Ivanka actually wanted to be the First Lady during her father’s first term in office. She even competed for media attention with Melania and tried to squeeze her out of the picture. And while Melania didn’t bother to respond to Ivanka’s antics and mostly just rolled her eyes over the matter, she was annoyed with her behavior. That’s why she made it clear to her husband that it’s either her or Ivanka and not both. She doesn’t want to deal with any of the childish games anymore.
For Donald Trump, he knows that both his wife Melania and his daughter Ivanka are huge assets to his campaign. But he also has to respect his wife’s wishes. If she wants nothing to do with Ivanka, then she’s just going to have to step away from the spotlight. Donald knows that for image purposes, he needs his wife more than he needs his daughter. Plus, he’s got his two sons, Eric and Donald Trump, Jr. that can help do the press rounds to help support him, too.
So far Melania has not made any comments about the matter, but many critics would agree that her actions are definitely doing all the talking for her. That’s because she’s been hitting the campaign trail now more than ever while Ivanka remains hidden with her family in Miami.
