General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Tries to Play Her Cards Right — But Michael and Willow Won’t Buy Her Act with Drew

General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) fell prey to a weak moment.

Wrapped up in their disgust and contempt for one another, they gave into their impulses and hooked up on Drew’s desk at Aurora.

While it might have felt like a temporary thrill knowing anyone could walk into his office at any moment and find out their dirty little secret, the last thing either of them really wants is for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), or anyone else to learn of their tryst.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) would certainly have some choice opinions about Drew’s lapse in judgment, too.

But it may reflect more poorly on Drew than it would on Nina — if Sonny is moving on anyway. Will she use this to her advantage to get what she wants?

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Might Budge

Drew isn’t keen on helping Nina get anything she wants. He still hasn’t forgiven her for turning him and Carly in to the SEC for insider trading, and he made it quite clear to her that she’s going to need to do a lot more for him than a daytime hook-up.

At the same time, Drew is stunned to hear Carly is sleeping with Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), and the way it leaves him feeling could spur a change in his perception of Nina’s original offer that they remain mutually beneficial to one another.

GH Spoilers Say Nina Plays Dirty

Initially, Nina suggested that she and Drew scratch an itch for each other, but she was barking up the wrong tree. Drew was going okay without Carly and he wasn’t seeking any kind of revenge to make himself feel better.

That’s always been Nina’s M.O. — not his. But times have changed, and so has Drew. His stint in Pentonville did wonders for his desire for payback, and knowing Carly has jumped right into bed with someone else might leave him feeling a bit more interested in Nina’s proposal that he cozy up to her — even if only for public appearances.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Family Doesn’t Buy It

Of course, Drew and Nina appearing — or even legitimately becoming — closer is going to throw a wrench into the family unit.

Michael and Willow aren’t merely going to back down and accept that Drew has found love or friendship with Nina of all people — not after what she did.

It’s likely they’ll be suspicious right away that Nina has him over a barrel somehow. Sadly, it’s not that simple. Drew will be complicit in the matter, and that could end up costing him some of his most closely held relationships.

If Willow isn’t willing to let her mom back into her life, will Drew’s charade with Nina amount to nothing but a waste of time?
