The Young and the Restless: Claire Neutralized, Jordan Kidnaps Harrison

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 12 reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) put in play another scheme to catch that evil Jordan (Colleen Zenk) woman.

We have to admit, the villain storyline is fun in the most schlocky, over the top kind of way. It’s also given Scott a chance to stretch her acting muscles and introduced a lightning rod character in the form of Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

On Monday it’s show time and the Newmans plan on luring Jordan out of the woodwork and into a jail cell.

The grand gala is the celebration for Niktor’s first wedding. Nikki pretends to be having a blast but she’s also worried that Jordan could pop up and put a blast into her. Due to her nerves, Nikki is tempted to drink, and fans know she is off the wagon again.

Victor isn’t crazy that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is invited, but he knows that he has been a big help as Nikki travels a very dangerous road.

For her part, Nikki isn’t thrilled that Jack brings Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters). Meow.

Other guests include Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), his wife Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and her baby daddy ex Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

What would a Newman party be without Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)?

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) attend together. Later in the night a terrible phone call brings the fun to a standstill. Could it be about Jordan sneaking into the Abbott mansion, and finding Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) bonding with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin)?

Jordan chloroforms Claire who loses consciousness and becomes powerless to help Harrison.
This time out Jordan’s kidnap victim doesn’t argue or fight her as Jordan abducts the vulnerable little boy.

The Abbotts go berserk upon finding out what Jordan has done. Will they blame Claire for the horrible turn of events? There definitely is a group of people who are not happy that Claire is in GC.
