Here’s What Days of Our Lives Fans Really Think Of Those Playgirl Covers

Daytime television stars such as Paul Telfer and Robert Scott Wilson are proving to the world that they don’t have a shy bone in their bodies by posing for Playgirl magazine. However, the mag shoot is getting quite the mixed reaction. That’s because a lot of people believe that in this  time and age, it’s really unnecessary. It’s not much of a prestigious thing for women to be posing for Playboy, and the same can be said about men posing for Playgirl. Sure, the publicity is great, but is anyone really going to buy this month’s issue to see more?

Some Days of Our Lives fans have commented on the matter with, “Playgirl is still publishing!!??? Hanes underwear is unpretentious and humble… are those really his teeth, or photoshopped?” along with, “Paul Telfer is definitely in his element, but this is not something that Justin Hartley or Mark Grossman would do. I can’t see any of The Bold and the Beautiful guys doing this, too. It seems a little tacky for this day and age.”

Another critic wrote, “This smells of desperation. Are the ratings for Days of Our Lives really that bad? Plus, we’ve seen everything that we need to see on the show. I’m usually a fan but the men of daytime television really didn’t have to stoop this low. Let’s bring back better storylines on the show instead.”

So far the DOOL men of Playgirl have not made any comments about the criticism, although at this point it’s doubtful that they will. 

Days of Our Lives airs on the Peacock network. Fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
