General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 10 tease leverage, promises and milestones. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) states his leverage, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) makes a promise, and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) achieves another milestone.
Drew and Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) come to a surprising agreement after that unexpected lust in the afternoon on his desk!
Drew obviously plans to use what happened as leverage over Nina, telling her she is going to have to make it so worth his while!
More than likely he’s threatening to tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) what happened between them, since Sonny and Nina are still legally married, but Nina was trying to get Sonny back.
This started when Nina begged Drew to help her get back in her daughter Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) good graces.
She’d wanted him to put her on the board of Aurora Media so Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) would listen to her.
Meanwhile, in John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam Harrington) Metro Court suite, he continues to nurse himself with a wet washrag after being beaten up.
He tells Carly, who’s still there with him, she just doesn’t know him well enough to see it yet-his different side. In turn, she makes a promise-or is that a threat? She tells Jagger he is going to stay right there and she’s going to save him from himself!
Elsewhere, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) have a family discussion of sorts, likely about Blaze’s new job.
Blaze, as the new Face Of Deception has in her contract, thanks to her overbearing stage mom to keep her private life private.
Of course, that’s talking about her sexuality and preferences, which her family has a huge problem with. But Kristina is coming from a different angle-questioning that perhaps Blaze is the person with the problem.
Blaze had asked Kristina if she was going to have a problem with her new career and keeping their relationship private. Kristina now puts to her “unless the person with the problem is you”.
It looks like Curtis’ latest milestone is a more personal one, now that he’s walking with the help of a cane, since Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is smiling.
She tells him she thinks she’s going to need him to prove it as he smiles. Because of all the lies and holding back about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity, they had not even consummated their marriage, and then he got shot and paralyzed. It seems like everything might be working now so they’re going to try!
At the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has shown up as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is doing inventory of bags of coffee beans.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had informed Sonny that Jason was taking back his part of the business and Sonny is dead set against it! Sonny shouts at Jason, he doesn’t want him anywhere near it!
Jason has already noticed something is off with Sonny and he’ll question if he’s been taking his meds. Sonny doesn’t trust him for several reasons.
