Is it an obsession or does she just really like the music? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder as former First Lady Michelle Obama is being called out for her bizarre obsession. That’s because she just can’t stop fawning over Beyonce. But does she really have a reason to be obsessed with the singer to begin with? That’s what some critics want to know. Conservative podcast host Megyn Kelly has called out Michelle Obama for seemingly being obsessed with Beyonce. She mocked Obama for acting like Beyonce is the second coming of Jesus. This all has to do with the singer’s new album, ‘Cowboy Carter,’ which Michelle can’t seem to stop talking about.
During her latest podcast, Megyn began by saying, “I’m not a big Beyoncé follower. I don’t have anything against her… I don’t listen to her music. The Megyn Kelly Show.” “But I do get kind of annoyed at how whenever she does anything, we have to pretend she’s the Second Coming. It’s like, oh my god — they literally call her ‘Queen Bey.’ It’s like she can do absolutely no wrong.”
In her Twitter post, Michelle Obama said, “Cowboy Carter is a reminder that despite everything we’ve been through to be heard, seen, and recognized, we can still dance, sing, and be who we are unapologetically. This album reminds us that we ALL have power. There’s power in our history, in our joy, and in our votes — and we can each use our own gifts and talents to make our voices heard on the issues that matter most to us.”
So far Michelle Obama herself has not made any comments about the critisim she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Then again, she’s probably just listening to Beyonce’s album. We will update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
