They certainly aren’t the type of daddy and son duo that you would expect them to be. There’s a new report that suggests Barron Trump might not be very close with his father, Donald Trump. And that’s not just because their schedules align, but also because the young teenager simply doesn’t want people comparing him to his famous father, which is probably why he tries to avoid him. Not only that, but Barron is apparently trying to avoid having people make comparisons between them as well. That certainly shouldn’t surprise anyone. A new photo of Barron Trump standing next to his father Donald Trump during an event in Mar-A-Lago has gone viral. And that’s not just because the 18-year-old is towering over his father, but also because it seems like he’s trying to keep a little distance between him and Donald.
Not only that, but Donald is smiling with his signature thumbs up pose while Barron is not smiling and has his hands folded in front of him. Some people would even say that Barron looked like he didn’t want to be there at all. At least, that’s what body language expert Judi James said in an interview with The Mirror.
James said, “Barron’s body language has now evolved into something fascinating in terms of power and self-perception. His previous signals of shyness or awkwardness appear to have vanished totally here. “He stands in the centre of one group like the high-status hub and when he poses alongside his father he makes no visual concession to Trump’s alpha status or presidential power pose.”
She added, “Barron looks keen to avoid looking like a chip off the old block in terms of his father.”
So far Donald himself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that he will.
