Is Meghan Markle having a hard time controlling her spending habits? That’s what a lot of royal fans and critics alike can’t help but wonder. According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex wore a $4,000 Carolina Herrara cape to the Kinsey African American Art & History Collection along with her husband, Prince Harry. And while the Duke of Sussex is known for wearing the same pair of shoes over and over again for many long years, the same can’t be said about his wife. Meghan is often seen during her public appearances wearing over $20,000 worth of jewelry, if not more, along with Princess Diana’s precious Cartier watch. It’s almost as if Meghan likes to flaunt her wealth.

For a lot of her critics though, they think that Meghan is trying too hard to keep up an appearance that she can’t afford. After all, everyone knows that she and Prince Harry lost out on millions of dollars in lucrative deals last year and they haven’t been able to replace that with any additional work. Not only that, but they also have to keep up with their bills at their multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito, which hasn’t been easy for the couple either.
