Steffy was worried that Hope was leading Thomas along. Steffy expressed her concerns about Hope causing Thomas’ downfall, even if it wasn’t intentional.

Once Hope rejected two of Thomas’ marriage proposals, he ended up taking Steffy’s advice. Steffy pushed Thomas to break up with Hope. Now, considering the history and dynamics, that was to be expected.

Then, Steffy declared she wanted Hope to be heartbroken. Ridge’s head spun wildly after listening to his daughter. Ridge thought that Steffy’s intentions were to protect Thomas, not to hurt Hope. Ridge tried to do damage control in front of Brooke, but Steffy declared she meant every word.

Perhaps Steffy “sees” Hope betraying Thomas, just as she “saw” Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) break into her home.

Sheila’s death seems unresolved, so we are betting that there is a big twist coming up! Could that twist be Steffy having a brain tumor?
