She couldn’t have picked a worse time. Meghan Markle is being slammed for supposedly acting insensitive towards Kate Middleton and her cancer battle. Even though it’s only been one hot minute since the Princess of Wales announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer, for some reason or another, Meghan is still proceeding with her plans to launch her lifestyle brand. She even announced that she will be selling her own line of makeup and jewelry. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Meghan Markle is being accused of acting insensitive towards her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, and her cancer battle. It seems like the only thing that is on Meghan’s mind right now is making sure that her brand, American Riviera Orchard, becomes as successful as possible. In fact, she wants to sell goods in almost every aisle of everyone’s local Home Goods store. She even purchased trademarks to sell products such as cosmetic products, home décor, stationery, linens, small kitchen appliances, condiments, yoga equipment, gardening gear and pet accessories.

But for a lot of royal critics, they believe that Meghan’s new lifestyle brand is going to be anything but successful. That’s because the world is more focused now on Kate Middleton with the hopes that she fights her cancer than what flavor of jam the Duchess of Sussex is selling. Not only that, but the world could also care less about her makeup brand as well.

Then again, not all of this is Meghan’s fault. Both she and Prince Harry had no idea that Kate Middleton was secretly battling her cancer behind closed doors. They were just out of the loop as everyone else. That’s because both Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William have learned not to trust Harry and Meghan with personal information. In fact, they’ve learned not to trust them at all. 

So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the matter.
