Kelly, who was once best known for her role as Britt Westbourne on the hit ABC soap, took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “Hi everyone, I know I’ve been absent on here. So much is changing in my life. Maybe soon I’ll find a way to talk about it all but I want to thank you for your messages and love for Britt. It makes me both sad and happy to read them. Sending you all love & hugs!”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for her fans and her followers to respond to her message. Many of them replied with comments such as, “Well, dayum, girl, so good to see you first thing this morning. I was just saying to GatiTweets that I don’t see why we can’t learn that Liesl secretly removed a barely alive Brett & secreted her somewhere until she could come up with a cure! Meanwhile I hope you are okay,” along with, “Please always remember how much you are loved and missed on GH! Keep us posted on your life when you can and as much as you want. Hopefully everything is going well with you Kelly we all miss you.”

Another fan wrote, “Your General Hospital fans miss you so much! I wish Britt hadn’t have been killed off. Don’t know if you keep up with the show, but yesterday Jason/Steve found out what happened from Anna/Finola. Jason near tears. Wow. Barely see your screen mom Kathleen Gati any more either. I miss that family dynamic.”
