Ivanka Trump is using her platform for good. The former First Daughter took to social media to express just how dismayed she felt over all the bullying Kate Middleton has endured these last several months from internet trolls. This all comes after the Princess of Wales announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. However, she hasn’t revealed what kind of cancer she has. Sharing Kate Middleton’s video message on her X (formerly Twitter) account, Ivanka shared her sympathies for the future queen of England. She wrote, “I am deeply saddened to hear about Princess Kate’s diagnosis. Amidst the trials she faces, her strength and grace continue to shine brightly. It’s disheartening to see the speculation that has surrounded her, particularly during a time when support and kindness are most needed.”
Ivanka also made it clear that she thinks all of the internet trolls out there need to back off. For months, there was heavy speculation that Kate Middleton was preparing to cut the cord from her marriage to Prince William. A lot of people thought that was why she was staying out of the spotlight. Some people even spread rumors that she was in a coma or that she never had her abdominal surgery at all. But now they know that she has actually been getting chemotherapy this entire time.
Ivanka added, “During this challenging period, my thoughts and prayers are with Kate and her family. I hope for her swift and full recovery, and I look forward to seeing her continue to inspire and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Let us all show our support by respecting her privacy and focusing on sending positive thoughts her way.”
So far Kate Middleton herself has not responded to Ivanka’s statement, although there is a very small chance she will.
