Many General Hospital fans believe that it’s time for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to spend a little time on her own, and that’s not such a bad thing, too. Now that she and Drew have officially ended things, some people think that she should start a romance with Jason Morgan. But others think it’s time for her to stay single for quite some time. Of course, many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I think Carly should take a vow of celibacy for a while and just work at Bobbie’s and volunteer at Donna’s school. Why is it only her who gets any media attention? I do not care who she ends up with,” along with, “Why do we act like the only female on this show is Carly???? I’m so sick of her. Maybe the majority of the viewers wouldn’t be either if media remembered this is an ensemble show and not Carly’s World!!!”
Another critic wrote, “So, so, so many #GH‘s ladies have been without an ‘A’ story, much less love interest, for YEARS, but TPTB at #GH think that another chem-free romance with Carly is going to help?? Try casting a male lead for Liz, Ava, Jordan, Maxie, Alexis, Nina, etc. & let Carly chill for a bit.”
And then there was this comment as well: “No one…Let’s see her reassess her life after the passing of her Mother… She doesn’t need to be attached to a man right now… I vote she leaves town again but we don’t follow her.”

Sorry, but Carly IS a leading lady and alot of us like her and are rooting for her! The writers turned Drew into a mess. I liked him at first together with her but now the writers turned him into someone that can go away since he is sickening! And Maxie IS with Spinelli now which I am happy that happened! And Liz is with Finn! So I have no idea what you are complaining about! As far as Ava, I hope she hooks up with Sonny! Nina can hook up with Valentine since they are alike!
